The Other Side of Town
In a progressive, peaceful village, fear of density and cultural change maintains white homogeneity. Celebrating diversity, the town struggles to preserve it. Through parades, performance, and theater, residents confront a fading cultural presence. Black residents question false promotions of inclusivity, their eroding ties to ethnic identity, and why they choose life in small-town America.
